WhiteAds Terms of Use

1. ABOUT WHITEADS

WhiteAds is a verified classified marketplace and community intended primarily for eligible professionals and users who satisfy the Platform’s verification and access requirements. The Platform may enable Users to publish, browse, search for and respond to advertisements relating to goods, property, vehicles, rentals, jobs, professional services and other categories made available on the Platform.

WhiteAds is generally a technology platform and marketplace facilitator. Unless expressly stated otherwise, WhiteAds is not the owner, seller, buyer, employer, recruiter, broker, agent, dealer, manufacturer or provider of goods or services advertised by Users. Transactions and communications between Users are undertaken at their own discretion and risk.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT VERIFICATION

• To create an account, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law and must satisfy the eligibility requirements applicable to the Platform.
• Access may be limited to Users who successfully verify an approved corporate, institutional or other permitted email domain through an OTP or another verification process determined by WhiteAds.
• Verification of an email address or domain does not constitute a guarantee of a User’s identity, employment status, ownership of an item, authority to transact, financial capacity or the truthfulness of any advertisement.
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information and promptly update it if it changes.
• You must not impersonate another person, use a false identity, create an account using another person’s information, or circumvent any verification or access control.
• WhiteAds may approve, reject, suspend or revoke eligibility or access where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its Users or its integrity.

3. USER ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, devices and verification methods. You must not share your account with another person. You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, except to the extent caused by WhiteAds’ failure to maintain reasonable security.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to or misuse of your account. WhiteAds may take reasonable steps to secure, suspend or investigate an account where misuse or a security risk is suspected.

4. CLASSIFIED ADVERTISEMENTS

Users may create advertisements in categories and formats made available on the Platform, including “I am looking for…” and “I am selling…” listings. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, completeness and content of your advertisements and for ensuring that you have the right to publish all information, photographs and other materials included in them.

• Advertisements must accurately describe the relevant requirement, item, service or opportunity.
• You must not post duplicate, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, spam, bait-and-switch or fictitious advertisements.
• You must not falsely claim ownership, authority, employment, availability, pricing, specifications, location or any other material fact.
• You must comply with applicable laws, licences, registrations, permissions and tax obligations relevant to the advertised goods or services.
• Where required by the Platform, you must disclose material restrictions, charges, conditions or limitations.

WhiteAds may review, edit for formatting, reject, remove, restrict or suspend advertisements or accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law or Platform policies.

5. NO BROKERS, AGENTS OR UNAUTHORISED COMMERCIAL INTERMEDIARIES

WhiteAds may restrict or prohibit brokers, agents, dealers, lead aggregators, advertisers or other commercial intermediaries from using specified categories or the Platform generally, unless WhiteAds expressly permits such use. You must not disguise a commercial listing as a personal listing or misrepresent your role in a transaction.

Any verification status, badge or domain approval is subject to WhiteAds’ rules and does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee or recommendation by WhiteAds.

6. CONTACT INFORMATION, MESSAGING AND PAID ACCESS

Certain contact information or Platform features may be masked, restricted or made available only to eligible or paying Users. WhiteAds may offer memberships, credits, contact-unlock features, promoted listings or other paid features.

You must use another User’s contact information only for legitimate purposes connected with the relevant advertisement or transaction. You must not harvest, scrape, sell, share, publish, spam or use another User’s contact information for unrelated marketing, recruitment, solicitation or other unauthorised purposes.

7. FEES, MEMBERSHIPS AND PAYMENTS

The price, duration, scope and conditions of paid memberships, credits and other paid features will be displayed on the Platform or at the point of purchase. Prices may change prospectively, subject to applicable law and any commitments applicable to an existing purchase or subscription.

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers. You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information and authorise the applicable payment provider to process charges for the selected purchase.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, payments for digital memberships, credits, promoted listings and similar services are non-refundable once the relevant service has been activated, consumed or delivered.

8. USER TRANSACTIONS AND SAFETY

WhiteAds does not ordinarily take possession of advertised goods, inspect property, verify title, guarantee payment, or act as an escrow provider. Users are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before entering into a transaction.

• Verify the identity and relevant claims of the other party independently.
• Inspect goods or property where appropriate before making payment.
• Do not share OTPs, passwords, banking credentials or other sensitive security information.
• Use caution when making advance payments or deposits.
• Report suspected fraud, impersonation or prohibited conduct through the reporting tools or support channels.

9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must not use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive or unauthorised purpose. Without limitation, you must not:

• violate any applicable law, regulation, court order or legally binding obligation;
• post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful content;
• infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other legal rights;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, employment, authority or relationship with an organisation;
• post prohibited, stolen, counterfeit or unlawfully obtained goods or services;
• engage in fraud, phishing, money laundering, prohibited gambling, scams or other deceptive conduct;
• upload malware, viruses or code intended to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
• scrape, harvest, copy or systematically collect Platform data or User information without written authorisation;
• bypass or interfere with Platform security, verification, payment or access controls;
• use automated systems, bots or other mechanisms to access or search the Platform in a manner not authorised by WhiteAds;
• send spam, unsolicited bulk communications or unrelated solicitations to Users;
• create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or enforcement; or
• use the Platform to build or operate a competing database or service using data obtained from WhiteAds without permission.

10. USER CONTENT AND LICENCE

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully submit to the Platform, including advertisement text, photographs and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant WhiteAds a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical purposes, display, distribute and otherwise use the User Content solely to operate, promote, improve and provide the Platform and Services, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

23. GENERAL

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable supplementary terms presented to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and WhiteAds regarding the Platform.
